Steve enters service with WASTE EXPRESS with a strong
background and demonstrated achievement in customer service, environmental
expertise and safety program success. Steve has more than 16 years of
environmental engineering and business management experience. Steve is a
lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. His career started in
consulting and expanded his experience, serving customers as an
Engineering Manager at an equipment manufacturing facility. Steve accepted
a process engineering position with one of his customers, a large chemical
manufacturer where he saved the company millions of dollars in
environmental costs. Steve also lead the facility to achieve 500,000 hours
(2 ½ years) without an OSHA recordable incident and 1,000,000 hours
without a “lost-time accident”. Steve operates an environmental
consulting company EC2. WASTE EXPRESS offers engineering
services with EC2 as a subcontractor . Steve is a registered
Professional Engineer. He earned his bachelor of science in mechanical
engineering from Kansas State University (1987) and earned his masters of
science from Kansas State University (1998).

Matt has more than 16 years experience in environmental
management. During this time he has been facility operations manager, lab
pack / de-pack manager, and technical services manager. Over the years he
gained experience in RCRA compliance, transportation, laboratory
operations, record keeping and customer services. He developed procedures
for handling and processing hazardous materials and production equipment
operations. He has supervised projects for the Army Corps of Engineers and
various FORTUNE 500 companies.

Bruce has more than 16 years of experience in hazardous
materials management with an emphasis in transportation and disposal. He
has supervised and managed projects which included EPA Superfund sites, RCRA Corrective actions UST removals, OSHA compliance audits and DOT
driver training programs. He is an accredited Certified Hazardous Material
Manager. He has developed and implemented company training programs in
regulatory compliance, equipment operation and production organization.

Carla has 21 years of environmental experience in the
solid waste industry, specializing in the identification and proper
disposal for five solid waste, Subtitle D, landfills located in Missouri
and Nebraska. She has received certification from Southwest Missouri State
University for "Proper handling of Household Hazardous Wastes"
1989, and certification from the University of Missouri - Columbia for
"Introduction to Hazardous Waste Management" 1983. She has
worked as a community relations specialist, technical sales, special waste
liaison, sales manager and human resources/safety coordinator in the solid
waste industry. She is past president of the Missouri Waste Control
Coalition and has served on the board of the Heartland Chapter Academy of
Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. From 1995 to 2001, she served on
the City of Independence's Solid Waste Commission.

Paul has more than 11 years of experience in environmental
management. He has served as laboratory manager, office manager and
technical services manager. He has served 12 years in the Missouri
Army National Guard where he was an environmental coordinator.
